I guess we have to pay this off. As you already pointed out, too many combos that we have beat here that could still go for value this way. Might also wake up with 89dd for a split.
Forgot about the possibility of a split with 98dd. It basically comes down to if he does this with 44 and worse or not. If he doesn't even do this with 88 then calling is losing a lot.

I think we cant fold this.. he might have 98s, 88,44 or even a nutflush if he is a weaker guy. You also dont need to win all the time..
Btw if he is an unknown, theres some chance that he is a volatile player profile and can have even wider value range which is even more incentive for us to call
