NL50 butchered trivial hand for some reason

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 (6 Players) BN: $21.53
SB: $50.00 (Hero)
BB: $55.50
UTG: $56.64
MP: $86.78
CO: $50.00
BB is 23/19 over 1k hands and he has already coldcalled 3b IP (on the button) 1/3.
CO is 22/18 over 1400 hands. He has 3b 99 BNvMP and bet on J7xx two streets once.
Not sure how are these stats relevant, but his fold to cb in 3bp is 38/75/0 and Ive got a note that the third barrel has always been for value so far.
WWSF 41%, which is fairly low, but so is his WSD 45%.
Preflop ($0.75) Hero is SB with A A
2 folds, CO raises to $1.25, BN folds, Hero raises to $4.50, BB calls $4.00, CO calls $3.25
Flop ($13.50) J 4 2
Hero bets $6.25, BB calls $6.25, CO calls $6.25
Am I supposed to size the flop bigger, so I can jam the turn even if only one of them calls? Given the flop it seemed too strong, but I guess thats the correct choice.
Turn ($32.25) J 4 2 7
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets $10.86, Hero calls $10.86, BB folds
I have ~40$ effective, which obv sucks. Should I x/jam? Bet 10$? Jam? Even xF doesnt seem to be out of the question.
River ($53.97) J 4 2 7 Q
Hero checks, CO bets $28.39 and is all in, Hero folds
Now river is a xf, right?

thanks guys
