NL50 airball vs. fish should I bluff?

http://weaktight.com/6352596

No deep reads but he's obviously a recreational player based on his stack size and line so far.

When he donks the turn small and calls I think it could be Ax that peeled the flop a lot of the times.

That being said, there is both a busted straight and diamond draw OTR and my hand is never good if I check.

But with a fish it might take a bigger bet OTR to get him to fold even a K so I'm not sure if I should bluff here.

Sometimes you just need to give it up and find a better spot. Villain seems stubborn so you may just be trying too hard in this hand to win the pot instead of being more patient and waiting for something better to come up

Looks like A2/A3 type hand that called with A high + gs on dry flop and hit top pair on the turn.  Don't know how often your going to get him off top pair here.

I play well below $50nl so the following is not directed toward how you played the hand but for my benefit.  Are you finding that you get a lot of folds vs. this type of villain by raising his small lead on the turn?  Think I would be more inclined to raise his lead if it was an Ac with more equity.

I dont think I like the turn raise, I think he just has an ace a lot and hes obviously not folding it (nor is he folding a draw meaning you might have to bet the river, which you obviously wont know what he will do on). As played, youve got the nut no pair, you beat some draws, so really I think you are betting to fold an ace or something dumb like 22. I agree you gotta bet beg to get that to happen, so I just dont think its worth it prolly.

Yes looking back I like flatting the turn given the good odds. Plus he is never folding a draw anyway if I raise.
