I choose to call AA here ip at some frequency because i think he might find a fold vs a 4bet give then positions.
Ingame i thought i would choose to call with AhAx.
I raised to get it in vs JJ+.
Basically i doubt its the right play here because AA doesnt need much protection we dont need to fear a 4 on turn or river give our ranges and i make it easy for him not to make a mistake with overcards that would maybe barrel some runouts.

Yea I would definitely lean towards just calling. By raising on the flop you allow him to fold out all his air and continue with his value. Also if hypothetically you had AA with the Ah it isn't that great. You want him to have a hand like Ax of hearts that he is barreling flop with.
If you want a raising range on the flop. I'd lean towards flush draws and sets while calling with my overpairs/ two pair, although two pair in your spot seems a little less likely. Seems more balanced strategy imo.
Thoughts anyone?
I always 4 bet this unless I have a read people 3 bet the BB to tight at this stake
+1 to 4bet1, get it off on the pre(by shoving), seems like he likes his hand with 17BB 3bet and we want to get money vs QQ/AK now.
But disagree, if people 3bet too tight thats snap 4bet because we don't want to lose value postflop vs their tight range while they might not fold much preflop vs all-in
Given the preflop play and the fact that your IP would just call on the flop. The pot is such that if villain bets again on turn villain will be most likely pot committed and you can shove on the turn.
thx guys!
