NL50 4-bet pot with air BvB vs. LAG
Villain is 25/21 with 3-bet of 9.8% (12.9% in BB), 4-bet range of 5.8% and 4-bet fold of 56%
I have notes on him that says he likes to bluff a lot and represent the board. Eg. he tried to bluff a 4-flush/paired board with air once. He also likes to float. Kind of a spewy player. My notes also says he plays weak-medium SD value hands quite passively (eg. checking down BP with 97s after 3-betting light on AK9 and checking down small PP in 3B pot after flatting OOP).
I considered cbetting flop and jamming any turned equity. But then decided maybe a CRAI is better since he is the type of player to create dead money that can't call.
That plan doesn't work when he decides to check back. Reasonable since most players shutdown in 4-bet pots. Turn is a good card for me I think. If he had a flush draw he would probably bet the flop. So should I continue with my plan and CRAI the turn instead? Just flatting and bricking the river would be so gross. And I think checking twice to this type of LAG opponent will make him bet a huge range here.
