NL50: 3bet light and cold call range

Hands: 22, 76s, 76o, 99, KQs, KQo

When you play each hand above vs raiser -

1) Your BU vs his CO
2) Your SB vs his BU
3) Your BB vs his SB

What would you do with each hand?

all 1,2,3 are 3bet light with 22, 76s and 76o; call 99, KQs, KQo?

What i would do with each of those hands? Take the most +EV line. There's many factors that can change your decision to 3Bet or not some of these hands, heres a few:

-fish in the blinds that cold calls a LOT or one that is overly aggressive and that will squeeze you (obviously doesnt apply to BvB situations)

-does theres an aggro reg in the blinds that really likes to squeeze or cold 4bet in those positions? (obviously doesnt apply to BvB situations)

-villain that opened stats and how he reacts to 3Bets in those specific positions, look at his raise first (attempt to steal% in this case) and his fold to 3bet% from that exact position (doesn't have to be specifically BTNvsBB for example but overall fold to 3bets on the button is quite important)
example: does he attempts to steal a lot from that specific position? hm not very loose, slightly lower % than other people but he folds a lot to 3Bets; then i'll be more inclined to 3Bet 22 in those position and try to narrow down as much as possible his 3bet calling range from which information i have on him to known which boards i can barrel double or triple to make him fold some strong hands. Generally Qxx boards are pretty bad to barrel especially when its dry as people have so many Qx in their 3bet flatting range if they tend to fold to 3bets a lot.

-76o .. you can probably completely forget about 3betting this one, it's really not playable in 3bet pots OOP or even IP.. especially BvB as people tend to give much less credits in BvB situations, i would flat it BBvsSB against some people but i would need a reason to do so, mucking it if you don't have enough info on villain to know which boards to bluff and when to float etc is fine.

-Generally you'll want to 3bet more often KQo and instead flat KQs. (this is the same for pretty much any two broadways.)

-Ask yourself if villain's range that opens from his position, can stand a raise on a wet flop most of the time, if the answer is no you're probably better 3betting those small/medium pocket pairs rather than just calling since that when you'll hit a set you most likely won't get paid off in those positions as people open up a lot more and have more marginal hands that they don't mind cbetting on flop but won't give it a second thought and just muck them once they get raised.

that's all i can think of right now, getting a bit sleepy and about to go to bed so i might forget something important.. if anyone wants to add something or point out if they think somethings wrong, then go ahead i'm all for seeing different points of view and learning more :)
