About 800 hands.
We play together semi regulary, nothing special in SR pots. We had some variance wars preflop (he 3b/shoved A9 and AJ vs me blinds/bu) so seems kinda spewy given I'm a tag playing like 24/20 cbetting 65ish.

Given that he's aggro and folds to alot of cbets, I decided to x/r flop. When he checks behind I feel he has some sd hand, all sets would probably bet flop given that we're deep and would probably want to build a pot. When he checks again 4x, I kinda write him off as something like 88-TT, fd probably bets the flop also. I decided to overbet river, as his hand seems face up and hoping he spiked the T, but then he jams.

What do you think of my call?

I'm not a really big fan of the flop check because we are so deep.A lot of his range of calling from CO is calling a cbet on that flop and we don't know for sure that he will cbet when we check the flop.If we decided to check the flop we have to bet the turn for value,as played I don't think that I can fold this.

I think its overthinking by you, itscall because in similar situations you will win 99,9 procent of the time and lose 0,1 peocent
You are suppose to play what is correct and not to be afraid of such a funny possibility , and if it does happen you just move on because its variance that will happen to you few times total, but you will lose loads if you think like that and have a habit of folding those spots
you will end up like that guy folding quads on one drop million buy in tourney because he was sure guy allining has straight flush

Bet the flop. Bet the turn

58% doesn't seem villain will fold to a lot of cbets to me. He will still call with a lot of mid pairs, draws and probably also will float some of the time.

Nothing more you can do on the river then snapcall lol.
