Your raise pre from the sb is obviously a bluff, not a value bet. So you want a fold, not a call. But you say the villain is an unknown? So how do you know he will fold?

If it was me, I would look at my HUD stats and only make this play against players with a high fold to 3bet percentage. Otherwise you are just rolling the dice. Your HUD stats are used to make plays based on the probability that a line you take will have a greater chance than not of getting through.

So I agree with the above poster, I think this is a fold pre.

The actual hand almost doesnt matter here- there is faulty thinking to begin with..... At these stakes people call too much and too wide, so you want to be value betting a lot and wider (and consequently semi/bluffing less). 79s relies a lot on F-equity to realize its own equity, and F-equity is not something u have a lot of at the micros. Take out these sorts of hands and add hands like os broadways to ur 3bting range- basically hands that can hit any big pr and u can start VBing big. Think KJo, even QTo, and the like. This will be MUCH more profitable vs this pool of players. You can up ur sizing cause of this too- on all streets (including preflop)

97s is a marginal 3betting hand, good againts some, worse againts others. I would avoid 3betting so wide in general.

I would check on the flop or on the turn, betting twice doesn't accomplish enough I don't think.
