You can improve but also Villain can improve to a better hand than yours, a T is a ghost out actually. OTR everything got there and he need to bluffs a lot for your call to be +EV
I think the flop check is fine. This is in my opinion a good hand to strengthen your checking range.
You could probably find an exploitative fold on the turn, depending on what reads you have on villain. But he bet twice now more than pot size. On NL5 with someone who doesn't even have his full stack, you can expect villain not to be balanced so I just don't think you're good enough.
