Vilain most likely a fish 42/16 over 20 hands. Not much more reads about him.
How to act on this turn shove?

i think that is a good line, turn probably his range is towards value [2P/fd/set/AdKx/AdQx/AdJx] and we can't call because our equity is insufficient
Onboard with folding too, you can find reasons for call if you know that villain have spew tendency and can show up with something like 55,54 or another random hand turned into a bluff. But that would need super solid reads, 35% equity to call which we won't have vs most ranges.
I'm actually calling for sure and I'd be quite happy about it. You can't use regular hand reading metrics when you're up againts a clear fish doing a really volatile line. I think you see random stuff like A7 far too often to make a fold with a hand this good.
Would just call river as your pair with good kicker might be good against a fish as a lot of fish just believe that top pair is a good hand to bet with no matter the run-outs on the board.
Villain looks loose/passive. However, some loose passive recs go crazy postflop. Will he go crazy on an A-high board? Unlikely, but possible.
In general, I think your hand has a lot of equity. Even if you're behind, you can often win on a diamond, or a board pair might counterfeit his two pair hands. However, pot-sized bets from loose passive players often indicate a very strong hand.
So it's close either way. Without any reads except "loose/passive", I would tend to fold.
