NL5 AT UTG vs BU

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (6 Players) BB: $11.18
UTG: $5.70 (Hero)
MP: $5.00
CO: $8.12
BN: $4.57
SB: $5.00
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is UTG with T A
Hero raises to $0.15, 2 folds, BN calls $0.15, 2 folds
standard open I believe, villain vpip is 70 pfr 10 over 30 hands
Flop ($0.37) K 9 8
Hero bets $0.20, BN calls $0.20
wehave slight range advantage with the K, but board is wet. I think betting is fine although size should be more around 2/3 pot?
Turn ($0.77) K 9 8 4
Hero bets $0.45, BN raises to $0.90, Hero calls $0.45
I don't know about the betting here, I think I should c/c instead. as played calling minraise is fine I guess?
River ($2.57) K 9 8 4 T
Hero bets $1.23, BN calls $1.23
I think betting here is fine, but as we are turning our T into a bluff, bet sizing should be larger? otherwise c/c a 1/2 pot would be ok too?

If his preflop stats (70/10) carry over the flop, I guess he is a sticky player and he would call pretty much with anything. Your hand is a check imo.

Dunno regarding the range advantange, you both have sets, but you have one only more (KK), probably he would call with many suited connectors you don't open UTG with so he hit a lot this flop

Preflop: open is fine

Flop: prefer check to betting by a wide margin. Villain is 70/10 and probably is going to play this face up. Let him bet if he has a hand. Range advantage doesn't mean anything with these types of players as they just play there hand and have no concept of ranges. They think things like 'i have a 9 so I call'.

Turn: leading is bad here. We have no hand and poor prospects to improve. Villain called which indicates he probably has something. When he min raises we absolutely must jettison this hand. A min raise from a 70/10 is basically screaming 'i have the nuts or close to it'. This play is motivated by greed, they aren't trying to get you to fold.

River: villain just min raised us indicating that he has a hand. He probably didn't do it with worse than a T.

Overall: the way we beat weak passive whales is value betting them to death. They are going to pay us off when we have a hand and we cannot count on fold equity against these players. Play your hand face up in these spots, they are not aware enough to exploit you.

Pre is a solid open, I open all Axss UTG FWIW.

Flop, feels like this is a spot we can do a few things. Checking range OOP is an option. Betting is fine too, but I would choose the better combos of ATs to bet here (ATcc being the best combo to bet, and ATss being the 2nd bets combo to bet). If you look at your overall range of ATs, its 4 combos. If you bet only the club/club and spade/spade combos, you will have a C-Bet range of 50% and I would anticipate a solver would bet here 40% to 60% of the time roughly. That is a simple way I have found to help keep your c betting frequencies in check.

Turn, I don't think I ever get to the turn with the pot that size (meaning I was willing to check/give up on flop). I guess is just a give up with hearts here and a continue with clubs and spades.

River, I am trying to take the showdown. No need to bluff and not much worse I can see calling so value betting seems very thin.
