Here I am not really sure because there were so many draws out there. He could have missed a flush and a straight. I put him on 2 pair or a low straight though which made me fold my hand. Also my weak kicker made the fold more obvious for me. I think I would call with AJ here
sometimes.
I am curious what you all think!

Check flop. Can’t cbet at a high frequency and this hand cannot go for multie streets of value. You also need strong enough hands to call a turn and river bet. Given the action you have to call river given bb will have a lot of missed draws etc. If you bet all your kings on turn and fold all your pairs of J or worse on river then you call nothing and they will print money bluffing river.
I think J5 should definitely bet. It can benefit loads from protection denying equity to lots of hands and getting value from second best 8x ect. I'd be way more inclined to put 8x and pp into my checking range. And I agree river is a call. Most better jx don't bet for value/ get turned into bluffs
Flop I tend to x back but betting is fine if villain doesnt xr. As played im betting turn small. River is meh! Unless villain is aggro I like folding.
river you have almost premium bluffcatcher(blocking some 57, and unblocking all kind of bluffs) so click call. And flop is marginal low freq bet, vs regs should avoid situation like that and check quite often on the flop
Flop-Mostly checking, sometimes betting J5dd
As played Turn-Mostly betting, but sometimes checking
As played River-Call, he should, have a ton of bluffs here. With decent reads, could certainly be a fold vs the right player type. I anonymous player pool, always calling. T9 has to bluff, 97 has to bluff. QT Q9 has to bluff, hearts have to bluff, pairs can be turned into bluffs.
against a passive guy I would play bet flop, bet turn, and x/call river. I think this is the most +EV line against pop tendencies. A lot of draws out there and the wont raise them.
