Hello guys this is a hand that is giving me much taught lately. I think in general I played quite bad. I open AQs UTG and get jammed on river with a nut flush on a paired board. So my strain of taught goes like this.... I think flop play is fine maybe my bet size is a bit big? I absolutely hate that check on turn because it accomplishes nothing. If he had a Kxs or Jxs in his hand he would definitely bet the turn so I think he could only have a set of TT,66,77 and check it behind since the fourth diamond peeled off. I think I should bet the turn big and put him in a tough spot with a set he would have to either jam or fold and I am calling his shove here 100%. On the river thou things get tricky. Board pairs and now my nut flush is probably in bad shape. I hate my overbet because it again does nothing I only get jammed or called by better hands and folds from the hands I beat. I should probably check/call the river or bet small with intention to folding to a raise. What I find strange is that he left like 3bb behind when he raised =) idk maybe he bluffed me. What do you guys think about this hand? Correct me if I am wrong please.
What would be the optimal play here? Thank you in advance! Cheers. Roy
