Tough spot playing a tight player. Looks like he only c-bets when he hits good and he doesn't slow down when the ace hits the turn. You have 2 blockers to the top 2 sets but he is playing like That's exactly what he has. He could be playing KK and QQ the same way and isn't scared of the ace. If that was the case then 99, JJ and AA = 5, QQ and KK = 12. that's 70% your good and you only need 43%. Unless you think he Would slow down with the ace but it looks like he barrels a lot of turns after c-betting.
Thanks for the comments :). He did show 99, but yeah good point about him barreling OTT when an overcard hits. I did check my database and he is barreling overcards OTT, double barreling and stacking off to a river donk shove with TPTK.
The river bet is probably exploitable a bit? I'm not sure if he would leave 30bb behind w KK, QQ and allow me to raise, since it would put him in a tough position.
Its rather optimistic to have fold equity when we shove as a bluff giving him 5to1 or better on a call., unless he bluffs with better hands. We dont get to the river all to often without a made hand.
Thats a ridiculously low c-betting frequency...tough spot but it is probably a fold OTR. Against a looser player its an insta call but against this particular player he cant have much worse here, maybe AK but only that
KK and QQ are a bit optimistic once he bets pretty big on the river, I would actually take that out his range.
I would agree that's it's exploitable. Looks like he triple barrels with his strong hands and stack off with TPTK
Such a gross spot, but it looks super strong. I would probably call, because people tend to do weird things at 4NL, but I don't mind folding.
I'm folding the river. We beat 2 combos (AsKs & KsQs) and we split against 1 or 4 and lose to 5 which doesn't give us the odds to call.
Why not AK off?
I don't expect him to bet air on this flop as his FCBET is only 19%.
How about J9s/A9s? Prob either fold pre or not in his betting range otf (A9s), right?
I don't think he opens J9s UTG and A9s maybe also not but he could also x/c that hand OTF.
Yep, that's what I thought as well. Thanks!
The fu* nity bastards! I hate them... I read the comments from above.
And the first thing I want to say is that he never ever (ever ever) plays QQ, KK like that... so forget that.
Second, river i think it is an easy fold, although sad to make,I know, but look at his stats!... unless he is an agro monkey nit, you should not think long before mucking. He simply doesn't have worst in his range :(
