So just wondering here how far do we want to defend
The guy is fishy aggro (48/12 pre looking aggro preF on small sample, already donk1/5), and our range has a stronk avantage over his here so i think we dont want to overfold on this spot
So do you defend this hand or just fold ?
Also what do you think about raising ?

You didn't defend, you raised. He's a fish, you have position and a good hand, cbet that flop, cbet any turn that's a spade or a J, otherwise check back, decide river.
And if he had raised in fact, this is more then good to call or 3bet.
Raise flop. His leading range is full of crap.
I agree with the above. Raise the flop.
I think that both calling and raising are fine. I slightly prefer raising, though.
Alright thx for answers i thought as well raising might be sexy here with this hand
Like you said you have a range advantage so I think folding everything over 1-a is a big mistake since I don't think this is a spot where we want to exploit by overfolding since this guy can have anything.
He bets 50% sizing so I think it is a nice goal to defend around 66% of our range here (his bluffs don't have a lot of equity so no reason to go much wider than 1-a to make his total air hands indifferent).
Obviously any gutshot is a snapdefend because of this. I think building a raising range is not bad here given your strong range and adding a gutshot with bdfd in that range is obviously never a bad plan.
Thx for detailed answer good stuff !
I think i actually still tend to overfold ince i'm usually defending like 10% less than 1-a, even on situations where i don't have a big range disadvantage
But i guess we still want to go a bit lower than 1-a on most cases right (not here though), i saw for example that snowie usually goes like a few % less than 1-a, do you agree with that ?
Depends a lot on how ranges look, how much equity bluffs have etc. Like in a 3bet pot on Kxx it is totally different compared to srp sb vs bb on 237r
