NL25 Zoom: turned TPTK facing weird fish line
villain 50/13 over 9 hands
I thought a bit about raising vs calling turn but in the end figured that his line so far could mean anything and I wanna go for max value with likely the best hand very often. I might also lose action on some rivers if he has sth like TT, 9x, A8 or whatever. It's tough to find a good sizing though and the river is a very good example of why.
I feel like I'll be beat very very often here by random stuff but still am not sure if I can fold with these odds. Is there a better way to play this hand? FWIW he shoved the river pretty quickly and clearly without much thought.

I xb my AK with BDFDs on the flop. As played I probably would fold to the minraise. You're very often behind.
I can see clear merits vs a better player but vs a fish, I default to betting these hands because they likely fold often enough, sometimes they even call with worse and we almost always see a river.
What would you do i.e. if you xb, turn is the 2s and he bets 1/2p? Seems somewhat dirty to just fold but loose/passives don't bluff that much and you could as well run into 55 then if you plan on getting to SD ui.
And concerning the minraise, I don't think I should fold the nut no pair with a BDFD. There aren't many value hands, I'm still live vs most of them and he could still be doing this with a whole lot of worse hands like str8 draws or random overs.
I don't think it's the biggest mistake to just fold there but I feel like calling this is +ev for sure.
I don't fold a king here. I would expect to see Q6o or thereabouts often enough to call. Hard to comment on the hand because villain could be doing pretty much anything here, there aren't hands his line makes sense with.
Turn raise seems kinda unecessary.. Rather call turn and call most rivers to keep bluffs and worse hands for value.
Yeah, as I said I also contemplated just calling the turn as well for the same reasons. But I also think a flop minraising range contains a lot of marginal TP, 2nd pair, OESD type of hands and vs these I prefer putting in more money before the river kills my action. He might also have turned a worse K in which case I can win his stack right here which wouldn't be possible on this river i.e.
That's why I came up with raising the turn in the end.
If I have stats and they are showing signs of being loose/passive early on then I will be checking back AK on the Flop.
Agree with calling the Turn. I could find a bet on the River if checked to, but I would be keeping it around half pot to encourage a call.
On the River we just have absolutely no clue. Bluffs we beat are JT and 67, and I have seen players take that line with those hands. JT would be obviously more heavily weighted. But, there's a tonne of value hands that could do this too. I think this is a fold without some significant read.
I agree with sweet, don`t like the turn raise for the reason he mentioned as well as AK not being strong enough to raise/call off a shove from loose passive.
