I don't like betting small pairs on these flops because if I get called I can do nothing on the turn... in this speciic example however I can bet on any 6 and any deuce so maybe it's worth it to bet flop?

I like do double barrel on this spot. U can make a lot of better hands to fold. u can make all pairs lower than jack to fold. If u get a 2 on turn u can bluff the straight.
If i know i will double barrel. i bet half pot on the flop and maybe 2/3 on turn. So i dont inflate the pot.
If u dont like doube barrel i think the Cbet is almost mandatory.
you are a dog on this flop, still betting 55 and 66 for protection at some freq is fine. if an ace hits you have a decent bluffing hand. i expect IP to almost never fold to your cbet, so we need a solid plan for the turn. if u cbet 55 with spades, u also have to continue to a raise or get exploited. i think it is easier to check 100% here and not mess with over-complicated strategies.
give up otf
Ya in the bit of pio solving I ve done you usually want at least the 5s to do anything here. Another thing is board texture wise the J is pretty bad for us. I think Jx hands are the most common in cold calling ranges. QJ,KJ,TJ,J9,AJ. Even more so then Qx hands. In my half assed mass database analysis flop c bet success is lowest on Jx two tone boards. Then obv c/c is pretty meh as basically the whole deck is against us OTT and OTR.
