NL25 Turn bluff got owned in an unexpected way

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) SB: $25.00
BB: $50.80 (Hero)
UTG: $26.86
MP: $65.56
CO: $25.00
BN: $25.00
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is BB with 8 8
4 folds, SB raises to $1.00, Hero calls $0.75
Flop ($2.00) 5 J 7
SB bets $1.90, Hero calls $1.90
Turn ($5.80) 5 J 7 6
SB bets $4.13, Hero raises to $47.90 and is all in, SB calls $17.97 and is all in
I thought this was a good spot for a semibluff but he had 98o... I thought he was very likely to have an overpair because of the big openraise. I would have shoved my 2 pairs too.
River ($75.80) 5 J 7 6 K
Final Pot SB wins and shows a straight, Five to Nine.
BB wins and shows a pair of Eights.
SB wins $47.50 BB wins $0.00
Rake is $2.50

I think shoving turn is better than calling if I trust my read, but I was wrong. :P
