Ok first off this was an aggressive shot with just 10 BI for NL25 which didn't go that well but I think I can rebuild at nl5 now:).
Ok so before this hand I generally thought about my bluffs in my bet/check/overbet line and so far I noticed I never bluff with this line.
So preflop idk what is the correct play here? MP was a fish so I thought I could squeeze lighter for value although I would usually call this. Is it correct to call with KQs here or would you always squeeze?
Ok so the flop is a pretty clear cbet with small sizing with my backdoordraw
Turn I can shove for sure I'm just not really sure how wide I should shove and how often I should play check/shove river.
So as far as I know I will have some giveups on the turn and I need to protect those so that he is still indifferent to bluff with a certain holding maybe something like 88 or so I don't really know but I definately now that I need to play check turn with AA,KK ocassionally so that I protect my giveups on turn.
I don't know if I need a small cbet turn range here or if it's enough to have an overbet shove range and a check/raise and a check/fold range hm?
ok so my riverbet is a bluff with the intentions to get something like 88 or TT to fold but it's a little bit weird because I don't expect anyone to flat TT pre because imo it's just higher EV to 3bet those TT-AA unless there is an active squeezer behind but in this case there was no squeezer so It's weird in a sense that I know that villain has something but I don't really know how wide he peels. I can imagine he has 88 or TT, I also believe that 99 will bet turn to my check so he is kinda capped to TT imo although I believe he should 3bet that.
Ok well so then I guess it's only about counting combos and picking the best bluffs. KQs blocks KK and QQ just in case, but he shouldn't really have those anyway so I don't block anything but I also don't block his folding range. Villain could easily also have a 9x so yeah I wanna bluff vs that too. But actually vs my range it doesn't really matter if he has 66 or TT, I think the worst hand that I would be valueshoving would be QQ because with JJ I would almost always valueshove the turn.
The question is can we shove TT on the turn for value.. it's super close I think but checking TT on the turn is also really weird...
anyway I think with the line as played I won't have a flush often but I could certainly play 99,QQ+ this way which is like 21 combos so I can bluff about 10 combos but since I will only have parts of QQ+ I can maybe bluff 5 combos?? so which combos should I choose... KcQc seems like a good bluff to me ofc it didn't work but it makes sense in my bet small/check/overbet range :o
of course after knowing he can have JJ in this spot I will definately try to block a Jx next time but preflop I will flat with JTs J9s KJs QJs so I don't really know which Jx to pick.. AJo too weak to squeeze imo but not sure maybe AJs is a better bluff but if it's in hearts I will bluff turn so 3 combos of that and maaybee KQs so 6 combos so I'm probably overbluffing on the river but I like to get your opinion about this spot soo ya I know that was an essay.
questions:
1.) how often do we need to check AA or KK on the flop?
2.) how often do we need to check AA or KK on the turn?
3.)
