NL25: rangeplay on AAJ OOP
SB: $65.02 (Hero)
BB: $58.96
UTG: $50
HJ: $127.82
CO: $25
F/C/R 3b: 33/66/0
FCb: 33 in single raised pots
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.80, BB folds, BN calls $2.05
I think I should definitely have flatted pre because the BB was a cally and sometimes splashy fish and the BTN isn't a big folder as well.
As played how do you play your range on flops like this? Especially hands like this, A4s, KQcc, KQo or 87cc. In a vacuum I'd really wanna check this hand because it seems like betting doesn't accomplish anything. However I think exactly this hand type comes into a halfway thinking NL25 player's mind when seeing me check here and for obvious reasone I don't wanna give away my hand and have him play close to perfectly against it.
I'd definitely sometimes check weak aces here if villain is aggressive enough so in theory, I guess I can check hands like this. I'm just not sure if I shouldn't stay with betting at least unless he has seen me being capable of other and really strong hand types.
And I'm really unsure how various draws fit in this overall picture. Does that mean we also have to c/c hands like that because again a good player will notice at some point that we can't ever have a draw if we always bet them.
