I didnt know what flop strategy is most +ev here. I ended up check/folding, feels very weak play, but felt like he is very set heavy. Is bet small flop a better option?

If I m gonna cbet I would do it bigger. I dont think its a flop where you should cbet for a smaller size, might be wrong. Its true that his calling range hits this flop very well, but our range does it too. I think I m calling flop and if he goes for o another big size ott we can think about folding and explo the pool for not bluffing enough (if thats the case).
The equity of your hands matter a lot here so it's flipped. The wet board --> bet big only works when your hands have enough equity to do so. You have so low equity with your good hands here that betting tiny makes sense (think 20% pot), but you have way more 60% to 70% equity hands and SPR is low so betting is fine.
I think check call is std here. Sometimes I wonder if your line is just best against some kind of players.
100% you can explo some players in the pool with this line, but you need some info.
i think this is a board where you want to cbet small and high freq...it hits your range pretty hard but equities could shift quite a bit for your overpair region and you both kinda hit this board well...you'll end up with more straights on some runouts given you have the offsuit combos of AQ in your range and they should not in the CO flatting range, same for potentially KQ
Big flop bets at 25NL to 100NL from regs are very underbluffed. Your hand isn't too great. All your other hands have more drawing equity and better blocker effects. AA actually blocks a large proportion of possible bluffs and merges.
Folding pure is OK against a "std" reg at these limits. I wouldn't fold KK or QQ tho.
