NL25: maniac 3barrels off, AQ on QJ9x9
villain 48/31, 66 hands
3b 17
Fold cbet: 3/5
Raise cbet: 2/5
History
- he called my raise, I checked back T8x 2t with 98 and folded to his 2 barrel on a blank turn and an A river bringing the flush
- called his raise OOP, flop chk, chk, I bet K8s on 664 T dbl suited and folded to his turn raise
- I del. cbet T8 on 98x 7, got c/r OTT and slightly overbet on a blank K river
So in general he likes to either raise or fold and keep putting bets in once started no matter what. Unfortuntely I've not seen any meaningful SDs so far. Only times I've seen him play passively is when he raised/3b AK and missed or got an A high board with QQ.
I'm not even sure if the river is good or bad for me. On the one hand it blocks some of his value range like 99, Q9s, J9s, OTOH it also blocks potential bluffs like T9s, J9s.
Is this a spot where I just have to close my eyes, expect to lose a lot but still be good enough of the time or do I somehow have to get away from this?
Btw: What's the worst hand you'd start b/c on the flop this deep?
