NL25- KQ top pair facing turn ch/r- squeezed spot
http://weaktight.com/6888294
PFR was 25/14 after 30 hands,
Villain was 18/13/2 after 135 hands,
Decided to go for a squeeze as the PFR although looking tight, was opening most of his hands in EP/MP, there was a massive whale in the blinds so he could be targeting him. I know sample is an issue.
Wasnt expecting a call from villain, but we flop a good hand, and put out a cbet. Not sure of his range, but I would guess strong suited and offsuit broadways and maybe TT/JJ.
OTT, since just called the flop, I discount sets, I also discount non-nutted flushes like QdJd. So my plan was to cbet again to get calls or folds from his Ad or JdJx type hands.
When faced with the ch/r jam, I think villain isn't really the type to bluff here even though he reps a very small range, pretty much only AdQd,AdKc,AdKh, maybe AdTd. But if we count in some some AdQx type spazz, then it becomes close.
Also, what you think of my flop and turn sizing? It leads to this uncomfortable spot OTT, but also our hand isnt that strong, we I feel we are strengthening villain's range too much by getting close to pot committed. Maybe 1/2 on flop and turn would have been better, still keeps in his draws and PP's.
Thanks
