[ NL25 ] JJ taking a weird line

Vs Rec player, low on info.

Taking this line cause the rec are bit more calling. after he calls my 3b i expect a wide range from villian.( 22+ / 56s + )
Also i want to protect my AK AQ checking back range against some type of players. Dont think i want to JJ be in there tho.
He end up calling with 1010 but iam not happy with my play. Is it just bad ?

as played NH, but against rec there is no reason not to bet/bet/bet imo. you also don't need to worry about balancing or protecting checking ranges vs rec.

yes i think b/b/b to. but i was thinking mayby i just have 2 streets with board changing and the range of villian ?

meaning by balancing i mean that when i check back flop recs are often gonna think my range is AK AQ.

my impression is that rec's rather call down too loose, because they are emotionally connected with their hand, than bluff random vs weakness. of course you also have those rec's, but not on average I guess

Simplifyng things, you basically want to start by betting flop everytime there is even possibility for betting 3 streets for value.
I think against rec you'll find a lot of possiblities in this spot. Ok, board is gonna sometimes turn into shit on turn, river, but just THEN, when you see that, you can slow down and just check. But if you already check flop, you cannot really get your value back in any pracital ways. I guess you can raise on turn/rivers, but its way more awkward and polarizes you more.

As played it looks nice, maybe just preffering raising turn bigger, so pot OTR is a bit larger than his stack. But its just cosmetics.

Your sqz sizing tho seems to be on a lower side, over 3$ is more standard.
