Yeah , fold turn
Agreed
I'd call and see what he does on the river
Why? My experience in the micros is that anyone overcalling pre multiway and then leading this flop (especially into multiple players) has got 67, 44, 55, 88 or even 45 pretty much all the time. It's a strategy that loses them money overall (pre), but wins them the odd big hand when they run into an overpair that won't fold (post). Every fiber of my being tells me to fold this. Why is it a call?
It's marginal but I'd definitely also call, especially closing the action.
That's awesome in theory, but in practice - while he has a very wide range that we might be ahead of preflop - his postflop leading range after passively overcalling is super nutted and contains almost no bluffs. I'm not saying that's true at 100nl or 200nl, but at micros, you can't really discount anything from a preflop range.
the line bet-bet looks indeed really strong, however I think his sizings do not. folding here jj when villain might play something like 8x or 99 like this is a disaster.
Side point:
You have 2 hidden outs to the 2nd nuts that reduce your price significantly. You're getting a better price than you think. You're getting about 4 to 1 in hand, but it's actually much closer to 6 to 1 (if you think your two outs is worth ~$1.50). Those are very good odds. And you can fold river a lot.
($8.87+3($4.31)+river bets)*2/46
BB can have lots of worse hands (draws, pair+draw, random spazzes) but when the reg overcalls twice with you behind I'm a bit more hesitant.
The sizing makes me want to peel but I think I still fold because there are so many awful river cards that'll make it tough for us to get to SD, and that's under the assumption that we're ahead in the first place.
I'm surprised no-ones mentioned the flat pre. I personally 3 bet this hand nearly every time when I'm UTG +1 and the utg player opens. Hate playing a hand as good as this against 4 players. You won't have to make a decision like this against multiple opponents and you'll have the betting lead post flop.
BB's flopsizing doesnt look very strong. I doubt he bets sets and straights for 60% pot in stead of 80% + pot. UTG still has QQ+ in his range, which u might be able to bluff off on some rivers. So id call turn and perhaps turn my hand into a bluff on some rivers.
thx alot guys
