NL25 FR Zoom: JJ Straight facing river donk overbet

BN: $35.44 (Hero)
SB: $10.51
BB: $38.10
UTG: $9.38
UTG1: $24.30
UTG2: $25
LJ: $19.16
HJ: $25
CO: $23.70
UTG2 is a nit reg 13/9
BB is 22/29 (60 hands)
Preflop ($0.35) (9 Players)
Hero was dealt J J
UTG folds, UTG1 folds, UTG2 raises to $1, LJ folds, HJ folds, CO folds, Hero calls $1, SB folds, BB calls $0.75
Flat JJ is standard vs a nit.
Flop ($3.10) 7 3 T (3 Players)
BB checks, UTG2 checks, Hero bets $1.50, BB raises to $3.75, UTG2 folds, Hero calls $2.25
Maybe I should bet more because BB looks fishy, but the board is so dry that a smaller bet can be better. When he raised, I looked his Raise Flop stats and it was 33% (1/3) and his AF and AFq was also high. So I think he should have Tx and enough semi-bluffs to make this a call.
Turn ($10.60) 7 3 T 9 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6.50, BB calls $6.50
Here I thought that he could still has Txs and pair+draw and overcard with good equity. So I bet to get value and protect my equity. I wasn's afraid of a crai because it's pretty rare to be checkraised flop and turn and my range looks strong enough to make him think I will not fold.
River ($23.60) 7 3 T 9 8 (2 Players)
BB bets $26.85, and is all in, Hero folds
As he checkcalled turn, his only air hand now is KQ (if he can have that) and it's pretty unlike that a weaker player will transform a made hand into a bluff in this spot. So, if he only has hands like J9, QJ, TJ and random flushes I don't have equity to call.
Final Pot
BB wins $22.54

Well, if I am folding JJ here I will be folding all my range. So it feels exploitable and weak, but is a villain exploiting me or I am exploiting his river donk overbetting range?

I think you should bet bigger on flop, like at least 8BB, it's a good flop for JJ and Tx/lower PP/some pairs with backside draws are in their range and we are the last player in position to bet so depending on your bet in position frequency and when you consider the fact that the nit opened to 4BB with one other caller which brings the pot size bigger than usual in a single raise pot and that could entice more Hero calling on their part. The rest seems fine. River is a sick spot for sure, it looks like he semi bluffed on flop and picked up outs on turn and binked on river, your hand blocks his Jx for value shove with straight also which seems like a fold but at the same time he might actually turn a set or two pairs into a bluff on river. I could use more read on this villain but I think it's a fold in vacuum.

yeah...imo his line is very consistent with a regs XR-bluffing range in this spot. He might´ve binked SDV OTT so he was able to XC...even though reads could help i guess folding is correctly most of the time

I do agree with betting your whole range smaller on very dry boards, but half pot is a little too small. I'd go with about 2/3, so 2 bucks.
Don't see any other option than calling. He's got the 4 suited T7 combos (any maybe none at all), and the 3 sets.
Sucks that I don't know HUDs, because information about his c/r range is super important.

Does he c/r 98, J9, AdXd, XdXd overs, 45/65? I think the higher in stakes you go, and the more shorthanded, the more likely he c/r gutshots and overs with backdoor equity. The c/r range I listed is probably really, really optimistic.

Calling the turn is good. Check-calling now would kind of make his hand look like J9/89, so I think he'd bet them again.

This would be an exploitable fold, since we got one of the better cards in the deck for our bluffcatcher, and we'd still fold, getting nearly 2:1.

I don't see him c/r QJ, except for QJdd (you block QJ), so he'd have to c/r backdoor FD hands. Since he can't have many overs+BDFD and he'd jam a naked J as well.
It's not too likely Villian c/r a hand like A5dd on a board that hits your range fairly well. The most likely hand would be TPTP w/ BDFD, but that's not possible because the Td is on the board.

So I'd call.

Thank you guys! I didn't post reads or more stats because I have only 60 hand on villain and this was our first hand together (it's zoom).
