Sorry, that's not the HUD of the villain here, tomorrow I'll share the good one.
Regards,
strange line by villian.
what type of hands is he checking the turn and risk that you check behind with the million draws you could have and he could get value from.. and then goes for this small chraise? i probably would have been timed out because i got to confused by this line :)
My first impression is that villain would raise bigger with a made hand. Indeed he does have all his sets here, but to me it looks like he has something with a little something.. pair+ FD perhaps, SD+FD combo?
I have seen the lead, check/raise turn line with a set. But this is often corresponded with a larger turn check/raise setting up stacks for a river shove.
At lower stakes villains will do all sorts of weird things, i wouldn't fault you for calling down here.
The real opponent's HUD:
13 OR in MP, 47 fold to 3bet, nit pre and post-flop. Looking this stats I think the fold was an easy decision.
In my opinion the movement preflop calling is correct as well. I don´t usually call preflop ( I almost always play with initiative post-flop), but in this case versus that ranges I think is good to only call.

Manu
