Actually I think ya I call. I think at the least theres enough chance that villain is being pretty dumb with idk 87s or whatever and he could be raising to find out where he s at. I m not at all confident enough in that read though to come over the top.
Thoughts on maybe check/calling the turn?
I'm not sure, but think it’s slightly +ev to call turn and call an A or a 7 river as we are getting ~6:1.
I don't understand our bet on the turn. It seems too thin for value. 77-99, 56s continue for sure and it’s hard to match these with worse hands. I also don't see any better hand that folds to this turn bet. Ok, we protect against floats. Is our plan to bet turn and shove river? If I bet this flop, my plan usually is to barrel any club, 7, A, K, Q.
