Played this slightly funky hand earlier today vs rio coach or possibly former rio coach James Hudson. Pre is standard, flop is kinda w/e.. Im checking back here at some small frequency I guess but im going to be betting here quite often. His raise is kinda awkward I guess because of the stack depth and he's leaving like 1.5 pot behind for the turn. Not saying that it's bad or anything but I feel like he could potentially be more value heavy if he puts less effort into the sizing (what im trying to say is that ppl are way more precise with sizings when they are bluffing from my experience).. Or maybe i'm just leveling and he does this sizing with his entire range. In my simulations I really have a hard time finding 36% equity which we roughly need to be calling. It also seems rly hard for him to be bluffing here with that sizing when we hold the ace of diamonds. there obv are some combodraws and stuff but they are not too many. What's our play here? The king seems like a worse card in many ways because it only improved like QT type of hands and he's not rly repping a onepair hand, and im not rly convinced we got any more outs aside from our diamonds when we are behind. Dont think he got like J9s in this spot or anything like that.
so what's our play?
the more i look at it the more i'm convinced it's a fold.. Not rly sure it was worth a thread. But still feels kinda weird to fold tptk with a nutflushdraw, but maybe it's just one of those spots.
