NL200 Unorthodox line with flopped nuts

BN: $200
SB: $397.61 (Hero)
BB: $221.26
UTG: $250.97
HJ: $239.68
CO: $105.99
BB and UTG are fish
HJ and BTN are regs
Preflop ($3.00) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A 6
UTG raises to $4, HJ calls $4, CO folds, BN calls $4, Hero calls $3, BB calls $2
Flop ($20.00) 3 8 J (5 Players)
Hero bets $10, BB folds, UTG folds, HJ calls $10, BN folds
I decided to lead here to induce BB and UTG into calling. Since there are so many players in the hand, I can't expect UTG (fish) to cbet this board, and HJ/BTN won't necessarily bet for me either. Even if they do, CR'ing would shut out BB/UTG. So I decided to just lead small and see what happens. Best case scenario is that one or more players call and/or raise and it's back to me.
Turn ($40.00) 3 8 J 3 (2 Players)
Hero bets $20, HJ calls $20
33 combos are now reduced but he could have 88/JJ which may be a concern. He could also likely have weaker flushes, and Jx or QQ with a diamond at this point.
River ($80.00) 3 8 J 3 9 (2 Players)
Hero bets $40, HJ raises to $124, Hero folds
I decided to bet small so that his weaker flushes can call me. Even K-hi flush on this paired board given the action isn't likely to value raise me here. And I have the Ad blocker so his # of bluffs is basically 0 on this river.

Therefore I think when he raises here I'm crushed and 88 is likely his worst hand at this point.
