I´m not sure about sizes here, since I block Acxc I made my bets OTF and OTT kind of small and OTR I was getting amazing pot odds so I felt obligated to call.

Any thoughts about the hand ?

Think it's good up until the river, since villain is a "calling station" and "passive player". I'd probably just value shove against this kind of player. You block a lot of his FD's with Ac and i dont expect him to jam like 6x as a bluff. Its less than half pot so i think there is even less chance he bluffs and more chance he calls with some random terrible hand that should be folding. Also he may check back worse Qx which is a bit of a nightmare when there is no chance he folds it if you shove for less than half pot.

I feel like I would rather bet the turn (and possibly flop) bigger and force him to either A) make bigger mistakes by calling with worse hands or B) give up his equity. River cards can also kill your action and a bigger bet will let you get more value now.

Hey Matthew,

Thanks for reply. I think it´s a good line to bet the turn bigger for all reasons you mentioned but I´m not that sure about the bigger flop like Phisy mentioned. 3/4 seems too much and I block NFD and TP which are a good ammount of hands that he will call here.

Yeah it might be better to just bomb it vs a station. Betting $30 on the flop would set up a decent turn shove which is probably better. Especially since you block FD's, he is more likely to have a made hand and put you on the draw.

I think his calling range on the flop will be pretty inelastic and so this does look better.
