That hand came up while playing a bit of a crappy session. Villain is a reg w a new SN (it's PP), I haven't got many hands on him, but I haven't seen him doing anything out of line. He has a rather high wtsd up to that point, but it's only 500 hands I have on him. We don't have any history. Pre/Flop can go different obv.

I'm not sure why and with which hands he'd ever 3-b this Turn. Some insights?

With his sizing on the turn i feel like he's boated up a big % of the time and doesn't want you to fold at any point. As far as the hands that he could be bluffing with, I'd assume either flush draw or a 78 type hand. It's kind of up to you to weigh how likely he actually is to be bluffing this this and if he can ever have worse for value (I don't think he can).

I think the river is probably a pretty trivial fold against most regs in these games. I would need a pretty legit read on his capability to do something this crazy as a bluff, in order for me to look him up with a pure bluff catcher like yours.

Turn could be a fold as well. I don't like calling pre and would rather 3b. Also think it's a mistake to just flat the flop with our hand, I'd just c/r.

folding turn given the odds and given we are repping a very narrow valuerange is way too weak imo.
river is completely different spot - i thinks it´s a pretty trivial fold there as ppl alrdy mentioned. our perceived range looks strongish after x/r calling the turn and he`s not valueshoving worse.

i think facing most of reg should fold this river, but against some fish or bad regular, they just min 3bet the turn with AA/KK types overpair, and dont know what they are actually doing for what...they just cant fold AA or KK,but if it's that happen, they mostly will bet small on river or just checking back
