I decide to c/c this flop since many regs assume I'm giving up on these boards.

We turn 2 pair but obviously there is a straight. I decide to check to let villain continue to bluff or try to rep a straight.

All the diamond draws missed, and at this point his bet is polarized. I block many 2 pair combinations and I'm not sure if he is capable of value betting a set here especially since we're deep and I can CR him.
Given how weakly we played the hand, and how good our hand is given our check/calling range, does this mean I have to call here?
