my wife just gave out to me for folding here to a player who i had marked as a fun player
her argument was that he most likely had a two pair and not even A in his hand.
i guess he could easily have two pair like 69,
my reasoning for not calling the river overbet was the risk to reward was to big and actual hand i put the villain was 66
what do you think?
was my wife right to say i should have called or not :)

I would ask myself here, what hand should i call other than this one? AA and 99 are usually 3bet pre and so there will only be 66 and 33 left to be better than A9.
I guess folding everything beside 6 combos of sets here is too tight (way too tight vs a fun player that could be clicking buttons randomly).
Sure: his line screams 66, but would you be folding basically 33 as well?
So even if i hate myself for writing this: i guess your wife is correct :/
she is going to be glowing here but thats fine, thank you for your time.
The cruel reality is, that we will have to pay off sometimes. Dont know if you have an essential account here, but i would recommend Peter Clarkes Video on his „Tier-System“.
Im not using this type of hand classification in the same way, but categorizing hands for decisions as this one is somewhat important to not start overfolding/overcalling a lot of spots.
But im pretty sure that basically all kind of systematics would force you to call here against your soulread to not get exploited by pure agression.
