NL10z set on monotone board
SB: $19.11
BB: $15.56
UTG: $10.09
MP: $10.00
CO: $13.12 (Hero)
Vil is 10/5 over 21 hands, but dont think that is too important considering the sample size
Preflop: I would actually prefer 3betting this usually to only play 3b strategy out of CO, but I think his tight stats threw me off (regardless of low sample) and we had a fishy player on BU I wanted to keep in. Not too sure if thats even of interest with a hand as 99, since we wouldnt want to play OOP MW with such a hand and its maybe better to do that with KK/AA .. or just not complicate at all and be straight forward about it :D
Flop: I have bit of difficulties to say exactly what villain plays this way, that he wouldnt lead OTF with himself instead of X/R. To mind come hands that are good in absolute hand strength, but want to protect vs my lower sizing, but didnt feel comfortable enough betting (T9s, A9s, AJ+) or monsters (made flushes, top set). We would do pretty good against that range, so I think mandatory call.
Turn: I would like to size up a fair bit, since wed beat a lot of Flushes and can expect a lot of calls from Ax with spades in them. I probably wanted to make sure to keep Ax in with this sizing and not scare him off.
Now after his X/R Im not even sure what we beat here. Imo, he would do this with T9s (which he cant have), AT or TT for quads and if he ever slowplayed AA OTF, that as well. I doubt hes raising flushes here again and think hed choose to call them more often. Bluffs could be some random KQo with spades in them, but dont see population do that too much. In game I would have felt stupid for folding here already and just sigh called.
River: WIth his smaller relative sizing I figured maybe he did go for such a play with some flushes and since we beat those, that it would be a mistake to fold here. Think I could have got away with a larger sizing from him.
