hi,

i am not used to this kind of moove. I think in theroy he should only do that with nut flush and nut flush blocker right ?
I don't think it is a good strategy to do that with Nut flush at theses stakes because all nitty regs are going to overfold so i put him on nut flush blocker and decided to push. I still have some out if i am wrong.

What do you think ?

I dont reallly understand why we do this?
If Villain is overbetting here so hard, i would assume a superpolarized range. Vs this kind of range we shouldnt be raising usually (because we are mostly way ahead or way behind if we get called with midde set).
As you said: NF or NFD....So you want a call from the NF and fold out the NFD?
The only argument for jamming would be to not loose action vs exactly 22.
Why not let him barrel of with Ah3s for the whole stack?

I am oop so it is not so easy to realize my equity. i don't like to call and X/fold turn on a heart. Also making him fold NFD is a good result imo, puting 26BB in the pot and folding a hand with good equity is terrible.
If i X/C he can also check back turn to have a free card.
I didn't consider X/C flop and donk push good turn, might be a good option ?

Dont get me wrong....Jamming here is definetly fine. But imo its not the most profitable way to play this spot. I guess the NFD is not the best example. If he bets this like this, he will never fold anyways.
But what is about Kj without a heart? what is if we run into the NFD or KK?
What is if he he is just betting random stuff that is basically drawing dead?
I wouldnt care too much about a X back on the turn, because if he is betting polarized (what an 2.8x overbet indicates i expect him to barrel with a high frequency OTT.

i see no reason to play like that with KK, i think you get more value with by betting 1/3 to induce a raise than by overbetting, i even considered folding. Of course it doesn't mean he can't play it that way, maybe he folded KK thinking i had the nut flush myself

I would be interested to see what range a solver use to overbet on this board but i d'ont have one yet.

I highly doubt 2.8x overbet cbet is a strategy a regular would employ on a mono flop. Pretty likely this guy is a funplayer and you might see all kind of funny hands.

I don't think any reg is overbetting this flop, unless it's exploitatively. I'd just be calling flop here, let villain spaz out with their bluffs, under the assumption that they're not a reg, and will have a super wide/junk heavy range. You're also getting a decent price to fill up, in the case that villain does have a made flush

I usually just call in these spots only for villain to show me an overplayed medium hand later on. tbh calling is ofc more gto but usually on these stakes these players just have a hand that they like and aren't going to fold to a raise. This line is also very rarely a very strong hand. So shoving seems pretty good tbh.
