NL10z 3b Pot Bluffcatching
SB: $16.62 (Hero)
BB: $25.52
UTG: $12.61
MP: $10.00
CO: $6.01
Vil is 30/22 over 96 hands
Preflop: I wrongly assumed hes overfolding to 3bets when looking at his stats (low sample size), so decided to go for a bit wider 3b range here and include A3s
Flop: Cbet entire range standard imo, not to thrilled since he will probably continue a lot on this board, but the size should suffice to make lower PPs fold that called PF
Turn: Think check is standard, vil checks back. I think vil would stab here with 98 or KQ sometimes, but may also check it back. Further, his range will consist of Tx, slowplayed boats (TT, JT) and maybe some stronger trips (AJs), but I think people fastplay those mainly on my limits.
River: We picked up SDV and check back, after which villain decideds to bet. In game I felt like there is too much on his side that missed (98s, KQs, floated AQ) and didnt give him too much credit for trips/Tx, further his lower PPs would have checked back. His size doesnt look too bluffy, but I figured its a good hand to call him down with. What do you think?

I think i fold river here. You really think he is calling 3b with 98s?. Looks like a AJ, QJ, JJ, TT type hand few other combos also that would work there. But JT being my lowest i would assume from him.
I guess i just dont think that at 10nl there is alot of people bluffing here. i know i wouldnt but maybe im just bad.
Surely better than I am if you dont find yourself bluffcatching in these spots :D I agree that player on these limits underbluff most likely and he still has plenty of value, sometimes I just see a good number of non SDV hands he could bluff and figure to go for a call
Alright you preflop and flop thought contradict each other. ''I'm 3betting because he is overfolding'' (I'm on board), ''Cbetting range is standard'' (That's not true, if his range is strong because he ove folded pre than we might check 20-40% of our range even if using 1/3 size).
I'll give you easy example (numbers don't matter): you 3bet 15% (cause he overfold) he calls 8%. Wait now on the flop you have wider range than ''standard'' and he is tighter than ''standard'', so we can't anymore play as standard situation this is completely ''new land''
River is definitely alright but probably ~ 0 EV. His really doesn't have too many bluffs available except KQs,98s which is 8 combos at best(need to consider sometimes fold pre, bet turn etc...). And for value can be anything better than Tx.
Ty for your input, makes sense!
