When he didnt 3bet me on flop i feel pretty confident im in the lead. So i put in a quite big bet to make him pay for drawing.

I feel like river is a blank, because i block 9T combos. So i bet and hope he calls me with hands like A8s, A7s, A4s, smaller PP and the occasional AK.
Anyone doing something different here?

Well, I play ZOOM NL25 and and I would wonder if the value bet OTR is really +EV.
U guys on higher stakes seems to bit quite more aggressive... But u think he doesn't usually call flop and x turn with an overpair? what about slowplaying sets, 56 or playing protective 9J or 8T. The question is: do u think the times he calls with hand like A8s, A7s, etc (which won't be too often) will compensate the times he calls with TT+, 8T, 9J, 78, 56, sets (which will be almost always even though he won't have a hand like that too often as well)?
I don't disagree with u, just want to understand the way u think because good players on NL25 tends to check behind this spot.
Fish like to see flops with all those hands that you like to get value from on the river (Axs, suited connectors, etc) and I feel the fish will overlimp these hands the majority of the time. So that leaves his isolation raise stronger and it is probably going to be mostly broadways and pairs, maybe some trashy/random hands as well.
U mean my iso raise??
No SB iso raised right, usually the iso raise range from fish is strong-ish
is it fish range bit narrow as he raises instead of calling preflop despite that there are limpers in a hand?
my feeling is that usually fish as a first option calls behind preflop, he needs to really have a hand where it likes to raise :)
I'd check back river you don't really get him to fold worse IMO and it's hard to call your bet by worse.
But I don't play your stakes that's just IMO
It seems like a very thin value bet, however key factor is that it is against a fish that can easily call it down with A7/8. So I guess this play will be ev+
im check behind river. you will never get worse call than 99
