nl100z playing vs reg OOP (2)

Blinds: $0.50/$1.00 (6 Players) BN: $115.23
SB: $101.50
BB: $112.67
UTG: $131.14
MP: $101.00 (Hero)
CO: $347.75
villian 22/16 3bet 6-7% 1,5k hands. Cold call 10% from CO
Preflop ($1.50) Hero is MP with J Q
UTG folds, Hero raises to $3.00, CO calls $3.00, 3 folds
Flop ($7.50) 2 J 2
Hero checks, CO bets $4.20, Hero calls $4.20
Have low bet IP 24%, and 40% fold vs cbet. wwsf 38 wtsd 37. Not aggro type
Turn ($15.90) 2 J 2 8
Hero checks, CO bets $11.48, Hero calls $11.48
On the turn I already consider folding, not having backdoors and more tight villian. But calling should be breakeven
River ($38.86) 2 J 2 8 2
Hero checks, CO bets $25.06
Here is really strange, since Jx for him is not always valuebet IMO. So for value he have basically JJ,88,QQ,KK,AA( all discounted). Can't find clear bluffs but something like KQ,AQ,QT is perfect to do so. Call river?

In spots like this i always believe that the fear of getting snapped by a J reduces the amount people will bluff dramatically, who does feel confident to try and bluff villain out of a J in a spot like this, and you gonna have a tone of Jx right? Specially for nit type players who have trouble finding bluffs in general.

You rarely have better than Jx there though, right? And you might have TT, 99, that he tries to get you off on turn. So if thought is put into it, one can come up with a push off a split OTR as well, or am I dreaming here? He does 3b his overpairs pre with that 6%. He either hit 88 on turn or you are ahead or splitting. :) If you go for x/c for balance here, I think QJ is a call on the given river (not sure turn). Is he reg enough to turn flushes into bluffs here? Is it something that happens?

as checks on flop, yes? interesting. so only betting trips and lowcard flushdraws? u cant really go for three streets of value with those, so I guess checking makes sense...

We're oop in MP vs CO so I'd check a lot. If I did bet it would be with hands like lower pocket pairs and a mix of some JX type stuff and occasional QQ with some air type stuff (QT/T9s bdfd)

Mostly just checking as a default tho.

I bet 1/3rd of the pot with 100% of my range on paired flops. I saw that in a video. I think it makes sense

Also consider you raised pre and checked on the flop. He may think your hand is weak if he haven't noticed that you check 100% here or something. How many tables is he playing?

As played I'd probably fold on the turn vs a non agressive player though. I'm not sure I think bluff catching here will be profitable. Only thing I'm worried about is, there's only one face card on the board and you checked. Odds of you having nothing in villains eyes can be pretty big. I'd call a smaller sized bet
