SB 3bets pretty often and I would iso very wide OTB so I think this is a defend

Not sure if this is better to check back. When he doesn't cbet this board he has a lot of overcards and not many overpairs so I bet for protection. It's an easy fold to a shove imo because I can have T9s, TT, 99, ATs and some combodraws.
Final Pot
SB wins $53.72
Rake is $2.82
Rake is $2.82
Do you bet for protection?

why do you think he has a lot of overcards, but no overpairs?
you have all the sets, while he is only having some TT, so he should do a fair amount of checking on that texture. you also probably have more T9s.
to be honest I am not sure if we should check or bet flop.
if deciding to bet, I certainly bet larger. I don't know what you are trying to accomplish with that size.
I think if I bet the flop I'd be very tempted to call the jam as he can have so many draws.
Think I prefer to check and play future streets.
Very draw heavy board and not a super pair to start with. Our kicker is good but we have to think about how many streets of value is our hand worth? I'm checking the flop and reassessing on the turn.
