Preflop
(1.50)
(6 Players)
UTG folds,
HJ folds,
CO folds,
BN folds,
SB raises to 2.50,
BB calls 1.50
i think best strategy vs his sb is to flat a lot, so i call with lot of hands
Flop
(5.50)
3
7
2
(2 Players)
SB bets 3,
BB raises to 7,
SB calls 4
i will raise a huge range with nuts draws ands bluffs against his wide range , this board does not hit him hard and his oop, i plan to 3 barrel if he never raises
i dont see a calling range here oop for 3 streets
i dont see a calling range here oop for 3 streets
Turn
(19.50)
5
(2 Players)
SB checks,
BB bets 14.50,
SB calls 14.50
River
(48.50)
2

SB checks,
BB bets 36
do you like my plan? do you have a calling range if your villain againt a raise and 2 barrels given position

He seems a bit sationish tho, his range should be quite strong when he cbet/calls that board and calls turn no ?
well i dont see any range who can X/C a raise flop, X/C turn and X/C river given the fact that it s sb vs bb and he steals a lot from sb, what range would you give him
hi no idea?
Hey i think his range is probably somehting like A7,88+ once he gets to the rvr, maybe some slowplayed sets but i really doubt it.
So i agree his range is quite weak, I think its a nice spot for a overbet if we want to have a large bluffing range.
"well i dont see any range who can X/C a raise flop, X/C turn and X/C

I think that you´re seriously overestimating the "strength" of the line you took. You made almost a minraise (which is the first thing I don´t like), then you rep almost sets only and a bunch of flush draws / pure airballs (which is the second thing I don´t like), the board doesn´t change at all, no overcards, nothing, which keeps your valuerange pretty narrow (third thing) and finally, the 2 on the river reduces your set-combos again. Be assured that I´d call you with ANY showdown hand that was good enough to call the flop with - and that begins with 7x.
i actually dont see why he cant have sets and flushes lol! :p and im not sure he will fold an overpair by the river!
"i actually dont see why he cant have sets and flushes lol!"
Mmmh ... chances that Villain has a flush are approximately zero. :-) I´d say the same for the chances that he´ll fold an overpair btw.
You're not showing your hand on purpose, right?
Flop raise is too small. If you had a set, you'd raise bigger also. About 9.50 or so.
This board arguebly connects better with your range than his because his is stronger, but he may steal the SB light/as a bluff, whereas you're not really calling light or as a bluff. Except for A2/A3 and 7x, sets/draws, you don't hit this board hard either.
Turn and river are okay, but you're not repping much. 22 quads, 77, 33 and maybe something like 64 with BDFD.
thanks a lot for your answers
i often raise 2.5x because i see them fold a lot so thats cheaper, what is your standard betsize as bluff and value?
i realise that i surely have a leak since i would never call 3 streets oop with sets, overpaires on this board, i would raise turn. maybe a reason why im now at best even at nl 100
i also realise i m very polarized and a good hand reader can take the rissk to c / C / C oop (but i dont think he has read i m a crazy agro)
he had K7 and i took a not he was hero calling, and was a CS but he was maybe only a smarter guy than me
i did not even think that overbet > normal bet but maybe it would have been better
i also realize that river was a bad bluffing hand
im quite surprise that every one find it a very easy call turn and river with weak hands like 7x, is is a easy call for a nl100 reg now?
thanks for your help have a nice day
"i often raise 2.5x because i see them fold a lot so thats cheaper, what is your standard betsize as bluff and value?"
the betsize should not depend on your hands strenght imo, so u bet smaller with bluffs and larger for value?
no i do it 2.5 both for value and bluff
