NL100 BB vs BTN , AQo pre-flop vs good reg
SB: 104.03
BB: 99.67 (Hero)
BN: 99.50
BB: 99.67 (Hero)
BN: 99.50
HERO has AQo
Preflop
(1.50)
(3 Players)
BN raises to 2,
SB folds,
Hero raises to 8,
BN raises to 16,
Hero raises to 99.67, and is all in
So very common pf spot against regular.
Villain button steal = 60%, and button 4bet vs blinds = 14%.
The 4bet is pretty small. Should I call here with AQo against that sizeing? If the 4bet would be bigger I think 5bet Jam is better than calling?
Sry guys, little bit boring hand :)

I think in this spot its a fold. He clicked back at you after you 4x his bet which his range most likely consists of AK JJ+. A good reg is never going to call off with anything worse than AQ so there is no reason to shove here for value.
I would have folded to his 4b unless he is just 4b you frequently enough for you to assume he has put bluffs in his 4b range AQo is just to weak in this spot.
I don't think that we should automatically assume that him clicking back is just going to be AK, JJ+. We have no basis for this assumption.
Wow. I didn't even consider about folding. I 3bet about 15-20% against button open as wide as 60%. In heads up I've used to run down my 5bet range to 66+ KJs+ against heavy 4bettors. Im not a big fan of flatting 4bets OOP 100bb deep.
Actually I don't know is it 5bet shove for value or bluff lol.
typo edited.
I think we are getting good odds to call when he CIB pre flop. We need to call 8bb to win 27bb, effectively giving us better than 3-1. We only need about 25% equity, and even vs a range of JJ+ and AK, AQ has 29% equity. And I highly doubt his range here is only JJ+ and AK.
What kind of ranges are you giving the Villain in this spot? I dont see what he is shoving here for value pf other than JJ+ and AK maybe AQ. Even if he is shoving 88,99,10 some of the time were still only at best flipping and i dont think we have enough equity to want to flip for stacks.
He is not the one shoving, hero is the one shoving. Hero is asking what he should do vs the villain's small 4bet.
ya don't fold. i think you got in op. with a larger 4-bet, sticking it in is probably best. however, as he makes it quite small, calling is probably slightly better.
Folding is the worst play.
Assuming this is Villians usual sizing and not a trap, I'd jam AQ in a 3-handed game.
Never folding this. I think the point on 5b jamming is that you also need to do it with your whole range of 5b 3handed, that may contain 99+ and AQo being the bottom of the non-pair hands.
