I am not completely sure about the call OTR, I mean: our pot odds are great, but what he is supposed to bet here with that size?
If you think he can bluff with that size or that he can bet a worst T it's a different story, but I would expect a bluff to bet bigger and at least some T to check behind, along with his SV.
Also, I guess he can floats a decent amount of kings OTF once you bets 11 on 25, am I wrong?
fishes make strange and very bad plays :D bet too thin, bluff too much, call too much. I think we can't fold to this river bet sizing.
It's true that he will have a couple of Kx combos, but he will occasionally show up with some 89hh, Q9hh, or with some random stuff. and we need to win very few times.
So vs a random unknown fish i think I don't fold in this spot.
As played, I really like it. Every street is very standard and well played.
Depending on what kind of fish he is, I would consider flatting most of the times and donking the flop.
If he is bad aggressive, I would defiantly just flat, if he is passive stationary 3-betting is ok but not great OOP. It's better to isolate any fish IP and push our equity preflop. OOP I would just play small ball poker vs a fish.
I 3bet/sqz fishes oop wide, but IP much wider. But I think ATs is very good, and better in 3bet pot than in mwp even when you're OOP to the fish. If we flat, Btn can sqz very often which is pretty bad for our hand too i guess. I might be wrong, i'd like to hear some other opinions.
Reasons not to 3bet: I agree that it's better heads up than mwp but we will miss the flop 2/3. Inflating the pot will increase variance and I think the drawbacks of flatting ATs mwp is less than the drawbacks of playing OOP vs a fish.
Reason to 3bet: It's fine to open up our value range but again position is the key. I would not worry about getting squeezed by the BB it's not like we are holding pocket TTs etc.
Again gl, this is just my opinion.
Line looks good to me, versus a fish.
Bet bigger on the flop, though.
