NL100 AK with flopped gutshot and overcards

SB: $100
BB: $100 (Hero)
UTG: $100
HJ: $199.25
CO: $151.25
BN: $101.89
villain is 24/15/2 over a large sample size. hes opening 15pct of hands UTG, and hes cbetting 77pct of flops.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A K
UTG raises to $3, CO folds, BN folds, SB folds, Hero calls $2
Flop ($6.50) 4 J T (3 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $4.60, Hero raises to $15, UTG calls $10.40
Turn ($36.50) 6 (3 Players)
Hero checks, UTG checks
River ($36.50) 4 (3 Players)
Hero checks, UTG checks

so if im calling pre with a range of {QQ-44, AQs-ATs, KJs+, QTs+, AQo+}, thats 92 combinations on the flop. a minimum defense frequency of 60pct means i should be defending with at least 55 combinations. thats not difficult to do; all i have to do is fold ATs, QTs, and whiffed pocket pairs, and im left with 56 combinations.

how should i construct balanced check+calling and check-raising ranges?

i have 9 set combinations that i would be comfortable getting ai with on the flop, but the other 'made hands' in my range are {QQ,AJs-QJs}, and if i check-raised with those hands, i'd really be looking for a fold, because against the range of hands that villain continues with, my equity really isnt all that great.

.. if i think about things that way, should i just have no check-raising range on this flop, and simply check-call with my entire defending range, so that i can keep all the strong hands in my range?
