NL10 - KK vs aggro reg in dry board

BN: $10
SB: $7.95
BB: $10
HJ: $10 (Hero)
CO: $10.42
BTN 26/25/16.5 in 397 hands. Fold to cbet 1 in 1.
Preflop ($0.15) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt K K
Hero raises to $0.30, CO folds, BN calls $0.30, SB folds, BB folds
Flop ($0.75) 6 T 2 (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.45, BN raises to $1.40, Hero calls $0.95
Turn ($3.55) 6 T 2 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $2.41

Call Turn and call River ship and make a note?

Or he is being tricky with a set, although I don't think a reg at NL10 would play a set like this without any good read on me. Or he is trying to make me fold something...

Is this a situation where I just call the 3 str and make a note vs this guy?

Agree with Below.
3-betting is a very bad option, on the flop. There's virtually nothing he reps on the flop. AT just flats, even JJ probably will, the board is so dry that he'd probably flat sets as well, and he has no two-pair combos.
So your call is good.

Check-shoving is best. Although the board favours Villian, he still should never have two pair here, so you're up against fast played sets, and overvalued AT/JJ, and bluffs.

First off, in order to get better responses in these type of spots, you should:

1) Write something about your stats, percieved image, bet sizing i.e-(Do you have different bet size against fish and regs, on dry and draw heavy flops, with draws or made hands).

2) Post his post flop stats i.e- flop X/r%, turn/river Af% and barreling tendencies.

3) Prior dynamic with villain.

All these things are of huge importance when trying to make a correct decision, and it takes you less then a couple of minutes to post them(if you have any). Also i`d like to warn you against mechanical thinking considering the :

"I don't think a reg at NL10 would play a set like this", statement.

True a lot of regs are more prone to flat a set ip knowing that they`ll get 3 streets of value(esp on a dry flop like this). But if he percieves you as a nit, and knows that you`re never bluffing these boards/but will stack off/call off if raised, then he has an easy decision of raising you and setting up stacks.

If you don`t have any even semi solid stats or reads on all of the above, you should treat his postflop play like vs unknown.Just bc someone is a reg and is playing aggro pre, doesn`t mean he`s gonna spew postflop. But honestly there has to be some better reads hidden in that 400h sample which should help us make a better decision.

Anyway, looking at this hand in a vacuum and considering pre flop action, his range here is mostly weighted towards sets/bluffs.The hands he bluff raises are mostly gonna be naked Gs,Gs+BdFd or just Bd`s. If he is continuing bluffing ott, we can somewhat safely assume, that he has picked up more equity, considering it`s more likely he now checks back naked Gs`s and Fd`s, and only barrels combos. As played i agree with ^^ that x/showing turn here would be best.

Thanks for the answer Hustla.

I'm new to posting hands in foruns but I'll definitely try to improve my upcoming comments using what you said.

He perceives me as a 20/17 reg who plays very straightforward. We don't have dynamics between us. Just trying to play pots against the bad players until now.

He is IP, and hasn't raised any cbet yet. AF% turn 58% (12) river 40% (5).

I have reads on some other regs but not this one yet.

He was a pretty low call open % and a 64% WWSF(33).

Thanks for the help mate!

Just bet the turn again, there's plenty of worse hands than can make up a reason to call you again, his Txs, maybe some 77 88 99, and his JJ QQ that flats pf.

I don`t think he has QQ/JJ in his flatting range pre, and is defo shutting down with them ott as well as with Tx.

And what do you achieve by donking the turn, that you don`t by X/shoving?
