[NL10] How do i play this spot?

Blinds: $0.50/$1.00 (4 Players) SB: $198.72
BB: $151.83
CO: $214.36 (Hero)
BN: $178.78
1$ here is 1bb, no idea why it converted it like this. This is NL10 not NL100.
Villain is unknown.

I have not been playing for too long and I'm still quite fishy myself so all feedback is welcome.
This is my first post here on RIO so please tell me if there is something more i should add to this.
Preflop ($1.50) Hero is CO with K K
Hero raises to $2.50, BN calls $2.50, 2 folds
Flop ($6.50) 5 T 2
Hero bets $3.80, BN calls $3.80
Turn ($14.10) 5 T 2 8
Hero bets $7.05, BN calls $7.05
Bigger bet here? Maybe check?
River ($28.20) 5 T 2 8 T
Hero checks, BN bets $18.80, Hero calls $18.80
With the T on the river I felt like X/C was the right move. If I bet I don't ever see him call with a worse hand than mine on this board. He has all 22-TT PPs in his range, alot of Txs combos an I'm blocking nothing in his range here.

My thinking is: by checking I can get him to try to bluff his missed FDs, SDs and some lower pairs maybe.

Hey,

On this flop texture, I'd probably prefer check/raising as this board is better for IP.

OTT as played I'd prefer a much bigger sizing, like an overbet to get called by draws/Tx etc.

OTR as played I think he does not have all sets but I kind of like check/calling if you have the read that he is capable of bluffing his missed draws here

Sure, XR >>> Cbet... but only if villain stabs a lot and we don't know any info about that. I'm sure than whenever we check this flop, many times it is check through, which isn't a good outcome for us

Yeah you are probably right on this one. I wonder if the field bets enough IP vs miss cbet, bet as you said my first guess would be that it is not the case...

Hey,

Preflop and flop both look good. I agree with ChaoRen123 that we probably want to use an overbet sizing on the turn. There are a lot of rivers that change this board texture and we want to get as much from his Tx region as possible. Additionally we greatly decrease the EV of his combo draws. We should not be assuming that he has all of his sets getting to the river this way, in fact if we want to make a binary all or nothing statement he should be way more likely to not have any of his sets on a board this wet. He does however have the vast majority of his Tx hands and not much to call us with, so the check-call is definitely the right play ;)

Cheers.

not the end of the world to x/call or x/Raise turn but usually we keep firing all or our value for big size. As ChaoRen123 said too, betting 50% looks suboptimal. River is nice x/Call situation w good bluffcather.
