NL10 - 3bet SB vs CO on a wet flop and a strong draw
cash game 6-max
CO open 3bb, SB 3bet 12bb, CO calls.
hero: Ac 3c
FLOP 7c 4c 3d
I think this flop is better for CO range. So, I'm start with check OTF.
CO bets 1/3 and I call.
TURN Jh
check - check
RIVER X
My question is related to the possibility of a bluff OTR (with a big size like pot or 150%pot).
What kind of runout is better for our range ?
Obviously, I refer to a card doesn't complete flushdraw or improve our pair.

theory:
i dont see any strong value hands you play this way so theres no reason to bluff river
again this completely depends on what is going on with the rest of your range and how far you are checking this flop at 10nl - are you ever checking overpairs? on most runouts you are going to have to check anyway so the only value here I can see you having here is JJ which in that case you ought to be bluffing with your other worse missed draws
exploit:
what your saying is the guy bets a weak made hand on the flop like 66-55 for smol and then folds to a bluff - because thats the value your getting from bluffing here
if he is checking back missed draws your A high wins most of the time so you have to provide at least some information on what you think he bets 1/3 pot with on this flop because if its 88-TT you will need to bet big like you mentioned
Totally agreed with you, I would check the river close to 100%.
Checking or not my overpair OTF depends from CO. Bet (big size) versus a fish for exploitative reasons, but check very often overpairs vs reg ( checking most of the times the bigger ones ).
Pretty lose 3B PRE; A3s not even 3Betting SBvsBU
Why do you want to get out of line there? Is opponent big agro whale (50/30)? Or folding vs 3bets too much? Maybe you just tilted....
River mostly check and bluff AK/AQ/ Overcards with bd type of combo. Best river is K, after A and Q.
By the way, flop is good hand to X/R and bluff it off on broadways runout. Imagine sitting there with JJ/TT/QQ and facing X/R and 2 bets on K/Q turn and blank river. Pretty sure most of us will be scared and fold almost all bluffcatchers
After posting the hand, I was in doubt about my 3betting range SB vs CO.
I 3bet this hand because field overfolds 3bet (and a bit for boarding coverage), but probably this reason isn't enough.
What combos do you prefer in this situation (better than A2s-A5s ? A9s - A7s ?
My ranges are changing, because I always realize many new concepts.
Understand, actually I haven't played with preflop solver and not sure about preflop exploits vs people who overfold. But postflop we gotta tight up then because our wide range playing vs tight range, and therefore likely gonna be less than 10% boards where we can range bet.
A5s-A4s A9s are better
thank you, I'll cut my 3bet range!
In my GTO ranges A3s is mixes between 3b or fold both CO vs. SB and BTN vs. SB. BTN vs. SB it 3bets almost all suited Aces at a decent frequency. Between the A2s-A5s & A6s-A9s the A2s-A5s suited are definitely the superior 3bets since their straight connectivity makes them more playable and they can fold out the stronger suited Aces. 10NL population overfolds to 3bet and definitely under 4bets so I suspect A3s to be a hand that you can profitably 3bet a 100% in this configuration.
