I agree that the flop raise seems quite unnecessary without any draw or decent backdoor equity.
You hit this flop very well if you defend some small SC. So you can x/r a lot, but tbh do you x/r here all your 2pair hand? I dont think so.
For me it seems to be xf flop.
Flop raise is a bit loose but it's okay vs 1/2 pot. OTT we don't have much other air to bluff with, so going for it is probably good but you need to bet smaller, as your value range changes significantly on the 4straight turn.
Really cool thought, i was always using 'polarized range -> bigger sizing' approach, but it definetely makes sense to adjust your sizings in these spots and go lower as we really wont get whole stack from worse like ever there.
Yeah, i would love this flop raise, but with something a bit stronger, like J8dd/T8dd. Agree with Chael, that as played it should be continued on turn.
