Villain is single tabling, but he is a HU player and I guess it is a winner. Over 50 hands, he's playing 46/36 3betting 8 out of 24 and he's 3betting Hero 5 out of 11 times. I have a hand which is way ahead of his 3betting range, however I don't like 4betting since I don't know what to do. I fear of facing a shove, yeah he could have a hand, but he could also bluffing, and I feel everytime I got it wrong. Also he could flat a wide range and I'm getting trouble on nearly every flop. What's my logical fallacies here? Can you plz make some general guidelines preflop so I can avoid many silly mistakes?

I didn't flop great, however I can still be ahead sometimes, and I don't think he's going crazy and barrell any turn. Also I have an A high and a gutshot to the nuts
