Nl 20 folding over paur

BB: Hero: $20.20
UTG: UTG: $37.31
HJ: MP: $29.49
CO: CO: $23.89
BN: BTN: $30.92
SB: SB: $29.04
30/18 after 45 hands
Preflop ($0.30) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A A
UTG raises to $0.40, MP folds, CO folds, BTN calls $0.40, SB folds, Hero raises to $1.80, UTG calls $1.40, BTN folds
Flop ($4.30) K 5 7 (2 Players)
Hero bets $2.80, UTG calls $2.80
Turn ($9.90) Q (2 Players)
Hero bets $6.60, UTG raises to $32.71, and is all in

I am getting 3,5:1 on the call. I am hardly good here but pot odds are so good. AhK comes to mind but I block the A.

Should I fold here or just make the crying call?

I'd make the call. AhK is a possibility, but to me this looks a lot like AhQ or QxJh, who made a pair and thinks he has a lot of equity against a king.

I've also seen this play a lot when people hold top pair and no flush draw on a same color flop, and when a blank comes on the turn, they shove to protect the equity they think they have.

Altogether, the odds are good, and I think there are enough hands in his range that we beat to justify a call.

why would he shove AhKx here, what better is he hoping to a fold? A chop? A hand like AhQx makes more sense to bluff with, it blocks the more likely set and leaves more combos of AK for you to fold

This is pretty easy to figure out just with stove, so id put in a range you think hell make this with and see if you can call. and play around with the range and see how wide and how narrow before you cant or can call.

If we assume hes a reg tho, I think it because a lot tougher because he prolly isnt flatting AQo, and your range is super nutted here, and his range is pretty narrow and even more nutted when he shoves, not even sure we bet the turn in that scenerio?

I've tried to download PokerStove and had no success, do you know a link I could get it from ?

someone on 2p2 edited the .exe and took out the date check and posted it.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55558954/PokerStove.exe

its pretty easy to verify if its legit as he just flipped some code, I didnt do check it but others have and said its good. Ive been using it, and had no problems, but just a warning/explanation about it since its not from the pokerstove guy himself. All you do is just replace the pokerstove.exe with that one and it will work until the year 2047.

Also, I havent used it, but there is this

http://www.flopzilla.com/holdeq.html

which looks like its just as simple and light as stove, and maybe even a little more useful. And its from the flopzilla and crev guy so its no doubt good

Thanks a lot, I was quite disappointed when my version didn't work. I was using a terrible online version, this will make my life much easier!!!

@NoHubirs: Have you tried Equilab so far? It's basically comparable to pokerstove with a couple of extra features. It's for free and you can download it here: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/poker-tools/equilab-holdem/

@Topic: I think it's a close fold if villain is a reg. You are totally crushed by his value range QQ/KK/AA/77/KQs and some random flushes like JhTh etc. and overall there are not enough AhX combinations to justify a call. I don't think that he is bluffing with air in this spot and I also don't think that he shoves AK here. Equilab agrees on folding. Your perceived range looks really strong like AK/KK/AA/QQ when you bet the turn and he nevertheless decides to push - your are beat :(
